Como Consejera del Consejo de Seguridad de la Misión de Chile en las Naciones Unidas, Isabel Franco tiene un papel bastante importante, desarrollando investigaciones, preparando discursos y negociaciones de productos del Consejo de Seguridad sobre todos los temas europeos, incluidos Kosovo, Georgia, Chipre, Bosnia y Herzegovina, Ucrania; Todos los temas asiáticos, excepto RPDC. As Advisor of the Security Council of the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations, Isabel Franco has a very important role in conducting research, preparing speeches and negotiations of the Security Council products on all European topics, including Kosovo, Georgia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine; all Asian topics, except DPRK.
