María Clara Garcia is an international youth education specialist with more than 35 years of experience as a professor, mentor, and educational consultant.
María Clara is a distinguished professor at Nueva Granada School in Bogota, Colombia and Marymount School in Barranquilla, Colombia, where she taught different subjects and developed programs that provide students with the tools and environment to develop their full potential and prepare them to succeed outside of the classroom. In Barranquilla she founded BAMUN, a student based model United Nations for students across Colombia, which grew into COLMUN, a national United Nations that allowed her students to keep involved beyond high school, and competed at international levels, such as Washington DC, and New York. Her students have gone on to become members of Congress, the House of
