As Advisor of the Security Council of the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations, Isabel Franco has a very important role in conducting research, preparing speeches and negotiations of the Security Council products on all European topics, including Kosovo, Georgia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine; all Asian topics, except DPRK. Including Afghanistan (UNAMA) and the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA); Mali, Guinea Bissau and Burkina Faso
Isabel, a graduate of Yale University, studied political science and excelled in her impeccable work, not only with the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations but also as an Assistant to the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations. Isabel is an expert on issues of international politics and negotiations.
