Shortly after that, he moved to New York to pursue his dream and worked in multiple Broadway shows whilst also continuing his training.
His dedication to keep learning was such, that he used to work sweeping studio floors at 6 A.M. in exchange for acting lessons. In order to continue his education he enrolled at the Stella Adler Studio and later at the Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute, all this while he was studying Theatre in Hunter College, which he eventually dropped out off.
Most of his artistic education was learned at Strasberg where he focused on perfectioning The Method. Besides that, he explored different procedures like the Meisner Technique with Nina Murano. He has participated in master workshops with Dennis Hopper, and has worked along figures like Suzan Batson.
Due to his ability to get in touch with his emotions, he captures the public's attention effortlessly. Jason´s work goes beyond technique, it is based in transcending and being authentic with himself in order to bring life to the role and its layers.
