The club Yale students built in 1861
The University Club in New York city is as exclusive as it is beautiful. It was originally founded back in 1861 when a group of mainly Yale students wanted to keep their ties after school. They first started at the Columbia Law School and their charter back then stressed their love for literature and art by establishing a library. Later, they moved to the former Leonard Jerome mansion by the end of 1883 and kept on moving until the final and current place was brought to life at 1 West 54th Street at Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York.
Today, University Club has turned into one of New York City's most exclusive social clubs, it offers it's members a variety of high-standard services and commodities like "The World's Largest and Finest Library", luxurious dinners and the perfect venue for a variety of elegant social events, including weddings and parties.
